Any good search engine books you recommend?

im looking for a book on seo.. anyone can post any recommendation would be greatful!

For the most part the SEO game moves too fast for books. There are a few scholarly papers on the subject that are useful such as:

I agree, books may be good for general understanding of SE algorithms but SE's change so fast that a book can't keep up. Online forums, discussion groups are a much better investment for keeping up to date with specific engines.
