Fox News Ratings in Freefall Trump Supporters Turn to CNN & MSNBC for Accurate News

Fox News plummets to 3rd place in viewership as Donald Trump suffocates in white house corruption contraversies !

So Trump lies to cucks about fake news when Fox News was the fake news along.

Evidently viewers wanted to see Trump's contraversies covered, not ignored on Fox News, so they're turning to CNN & MSNBC for accurate honest news in droves. Where else do Trump supporters get their news other than InfoWars & Brietbart?

Rupert Murdoch Calls Special Meeting as Fox News Ratings Falter

Fox News executive chairman Rupert Murdoch will host a company-wide meeting Wednesday amid internal turmoil at the network and threats to its ratings dominance from MSNBC.
According to Deadline, Murdoch is set to host two meetings at the network?s new studio, Studio F, where he will discuss both the company?s plans for a new newsroom and its overall direction and future. The meetings will reportedly be held in two shifts to accommodate all staff.

Following O?Reilly?s departure, the network?s primetime schedule underwent perhaps its most significant reshuffling in years, with Tucker Carlson taking over O?Reilly?s 8 p.m. time slot and the panel show The Five moving to 9 p.m.

But the network faces an early test of its new lineup from MSNBC, which has benefitted greatly from star anchor Rachel Maddow and its lineup?s breathless coverage of the Trump administration.

But the network?s hold on total viewership could soon be in jeopardy as well. On Monday, MSNBC came within two thousand viewers of surpassing Fox News in that category, and Fox slipped to third in the news demo with 499,000 viewers to CNN?s 608,000 and MSNBC?s 662,000.

Murdoch?s Wednesdays meetings are reportedly meant to ?rally the troops? in the face of the challenges.

Fox News is ridiculous. The last time I watched them they blamed EVERYTHING on Obama. No matter what it was, no matter what was in the news, it was bad, and it was Obama's fault.

The biggest issue we had during Obama's administration was the economy. It was horrible when he took it over, with unemployment at over 10%. This wasn't a "four year fix". This was a very serious problem that was going to take, effort, and money to fix. He cut unemployment in half during his time in office, and meanwhile Trump is saying he "inherited a mess". Fuck this. Trump inherited a 4.5% unemployment rate; It doesn't get much better than that.

Fox News doesn't report the truth. They report what the Republicans want to hear. This worked when we had a Democratic president in place and the economy was bad. Now the economy is great, we have a Republican president in office, and he is clearly doing horrible.

We depend on our news to report the news, not the news from one political party.

CNN isn't much better. I want the fucking news, I don't want people on CNN to debate the news. Tell us the news, then bring in an expert to explain the facts to us. Don't have six people fighting like school children.

I agree about the duelling panels fighting back and fourth in CNN seems fake to me and you know they're just playing a role, for the most part.

I was surprised not seeing any of Trump's recent scandals on the FoxNews website when they happened they had a 1-3 delay reporting them and when they did it was 100% pro Trump. People want to know what's going on when it happens and they want the truth! FoxNews has lost credibility with their viewers.

nice conspiracy theories nut jobs.

O'Reilly had the most popular show on cable. He's gone. Obviously impacts ratings significantly.

Regardless, this isn't rocket science. When you have a very liberal president and government, more people tune into conservative news for opposing views. When you have a conservative government, more people tune into liberal news for opposing views.

Trump fans hated Fox News during the election, but hate CNN and MSNBC even more.

Fox's problem is Rupert Murdoch's sons are in the process of moving the coverage to the political center. That has alienated right wing viewers, who now rely on internet-based new media for their information.

CNN and MSNBC aren't even news anymore. They are both politically driven commentary with cherry picked facts thrown in.

I watch Tuckers show. Though usually just catch up on his videos posted on the site. About the only thing worth watch at Fox. I'll tune into the first 15 min of Brett Baier sometimes. MSNBC is unwatchable for me completely. I tune into Anderson still fairly often, but he does far too many panels these days, and the panels are far too large now as well.

That is the extent of my Cable news viewing. I'll watch BBC and al jazeera if I am looking for quick hit news summaries.

It's tricky finding the best source for news.

When I want details and understanding of a complex issue, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow is what I will usually turn to first. Like her or not, she presents details, quotes, videos, multiple sources, history and context to each piece of news she presents.

CNN is the fastest when it comes to breaking news. When I want to know whats going on, I will always check CNN.com first. msnbc.com is usually slower to update, and has very little new content on the weekends whereas CNN seems to be updated 24/7.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer is probably the most popular, but I think he's afraid to ask serious questions. Anderson cooper might be a little tougher, sometimes, but he has stupid guests like Kelleanne Conway which demand tough questions. Coop' will ask sometimes, but won't follow up.

Sometimes CNN delivers fluff, or delivers "breaking" news in red graphics that is hardly breaking nor important.

Fox News was especially bad for this. Every single news story was "breaking".

Fox News is by far the worst. "Fox & Friends", Sean Hanity and "Gang of 5" being the absolute rock bottom for news or commentary. It should be painfully obvious to even the most die-hard Trump supporter that Fox News is nothing more than an infomercial for the Trump and Republican brands.

No, that is CNN. Everything on their ticker, and their stories is "Breaking News". Fox does their version with "Fox News Alerts". But if you condemn one, you best be condemning both for that.

My all-time favorite one of those "Breaking News" things from CNN took place when the anchor was talking to a guest about something pretty important (I think it 9/11 related, but I'm not 100% sure). All of a sudden she interrupts the guest and says she has breaking news. She then announces that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have broken up. The look on the guest's face was one of anger and just abject disappointment at the same time.

LOL!!! I can only imagine. I wonder what the anchors really think when they are asked to do those things too.

The anchor did pause before saying it. I'm assuming it was being fed to her via an earpiece. She stopped the guest and said they have breaking news then she paused for a second and almost looked a little ashamed as she started to talk. It was classic.

I would have loved to heard the exchange between her, the guest, and the producer who broke in with that during the commercial break.

It's largely because all the libbies are now glued to MSNBC and CNN like never before. They no longer have dear-leader Obama, and cling to the desperate hope that something negative will finally stick. Except for ranting on boards like this, tuning into crackpots like Maddow is one of the few things that gives them joy. Whoever caters to the disenfranchised and powerless is always going to get a ratings boost.

Is this one of those quality posts you tried to convince us you make? A graph from a 20 hour period, 7 years ago; followed up by citing breitbart as your reliance?
