IMO life sentences are for people who are too dangerous to enter back into society. I highly doubt this guy would ever open another drug sales platform. His sentence was handed down to unfairly make an example of him.

It's good to make an example of people that do destructive things, the way it was done and who he let into it, was fucked up beyond belief with no shits given to the health & safety of the end user

He knew full well what was happening on his platform. He doesn't get to use that as an excuse. He is just as guilty as the ones that did the actual shipping. Plus he tried to have people killed to have his operation protected. Be glad he isn't getting the chair, vs just life behind bars.

My inner liberal agrees...if it was just running the site. When he started shopping for a hit? If its true, he went full walter white kingpin.

However i think 80% of the governments case is bullshit. Feds used secret nsa ways to find him. The line that an errant email disclosure blew his cover just smells like bull.

So its hard to judge his sentence. Hard to tell what facts are.
