Hello, guys!

I'll try to ask shortly, please answer in the same manner and to the point.
Just need your own opinions and experience (you if had one)

Only Epoch has an ability to charge users via paypal in adult industry.

1) Why hasn't it became a revolution in adult payments processing?

I see it thousand times safer, than giving your full credit card information on each and every adult content purchase. Isn't it?

And I doubt there will be more users willing to pay for adult content nowadays, because of the such adult creators as whale_ca$h and frXee3dadultgamez. Those guys are collecting credit cards info on their side and then charge people $150 upon 2days trial end. I'm surprised one would continue using his card after he's been scammed like that.. I won't discuss how legit are those guys for doing it, I'm just about how safe it would be to use something like PayPal in adult. That is why I asked my question #1.

2) Do you work with Epoch? How good/bad is it compared to CCBill?

3) Have you seen any bumps in sales after you switched to Epoch from your previous payment processing system?

4) How difficult is that to get approved with them?

Simple..

Epoch is great they have PP
Ccbill sucks because they dont.
Both have censorship issues.On the censorship scale of 10 to 1 Ccbill 1 and Epoch 10. In simple terms you can reason with the Epoch you cannot with Ccbill.

On balance Epoch 2 Ccbill 0

Any simpler then that?

I would choose ccbill because they send out checks.
I don't know if Epoch provides that.

At the end of the day I would use whoever gives you the lowest processing fee.

Indeed, with CCBILL you have instant access to the largest adult affiliate base to promote you.

Unless you're a big program with multiple sites and employees, it's a lot harder to get affiliates to promote you if they have to sign up your program separately, have to reach the minimum payout separately, and you handle the payouts.

There have been many programs that looked great initially, then didn't pay affiliates in the end or just disappeared. Or removed payment methods, because the felt it was too hard to do International Wires/Paxum/whatever.

Of course no program starts up with that as a goal. But think about it, what if you get in a car accident? Will there be someone else to pay the affiliates what is owed? With CCBILL, affiliates don't have to worry about such things. If your site looks half-decent, they will sign up and promote.

Ever since PP epoch became draconian with their rules. Unless you are only running solo girl stuff through epoch I would spread my risk around heavilly.

I don't know if it's Paypal-related, but yes, Epoch *will* be checking sites pretty often compared to other billing providers. On one hand it sucks if they ask you to remove a movie, but on the other, they're probably erring way on the side of caution so if the government ever decided to start prosecuting for obscenity again, you may be a smidgen safer.

Best solution

That way ccbill can do your payment to the affiliates and handle the stats, while you still get the option of cascading thru epoch to use their scrubbing and also gain access to PP

...just adding a bit...Nobody mentioned Verotel in this thread. I believe that Verotel is very solid and relaiable processor...certainly way above in quality then Ccbill ...if they had PP they would be way ahead of everybody...
And also they ( Jason) is the only rep from a major processor who is a member here.

Kudos to Verotel and Jason...Maybe Jason can "chime" in and give the OP his view..

Verotel not answering to my emails for days. Their support sucks, rest is ok.
CCbill responds in a few minutes.
Epoch ruined things for affiliates and I don't have a clue what could make me promote epoch sites.

In all the experiences we've had with ccbill and epoch (from the technical side of things) - epoch's support absolutely blows ccbill out of the water. Most times when i'm speaking to ccbill's live support I'm fairly positive I know more about their system then they do.

Your mileage may vary, but, in my experience, Verotel does not pay.

Pretty sure both CCBill and Epoch have folks with accounts on GFY as well, if that is important in anyone's choice.
