The end of Tumblr as we know it

I used to have a Tumblr blog until last year. No revenue or whatever, I used it just for fun and for gaining experience. I kissed it goodbye last year, but today I received this e-mail:

You're getting this email because you previously identified your Tumblr as adult-oriented. We wanted to give you a heads-up that we've made some changes to our content policies. Starting today, blogs that primarily contain explicit content won?t be visible to minors, people who are using Tumblr in Safe Mode, and people who aren?t logged into Tumblr. (You can learn more about Safe Mode in our help docs.) Everyone else will be able to interact with your posts as usual.

If you don't think your Tumblr is explicit, you can revisit your blog's settings under Visibility.

Tumblr Trust & Safety

This is the reiteration of an attempt to tame porn blogs a couple of years ago, and this time, I guess, they're staying the course. This reduces the visibility of your Tumblrs in SERPs to zero, nil, nothing. Please add comments and letters of sympathy here.

Some changes (adult search) was done few months ago. I stop using Tumblr 4-5months ago.

I don't see the problem. All they are doing is implementing a safety measure in order to try and keep minors from accessing adult oriented material. Doesn't matter to me. In fact, I think it's a good thing and a positive thing. However, I will also say that the parents out there need to do their parental responsibilities and keep their own kids safe by monitoring their online activities, instead of relying on websites.
