Police: Officers were shot at in Phoenix, I-17 closed
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -
Both sides of Interstate 10 are shut down due to the police situation involving Phoenix police, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety. According to Phoenix police, the incident is not an officer-involved shooting. The scene is still active and police's preliminary information revealed that officers were shot at by unknown suspect(s). Currently, I-17 between Camelback and Indian School roads are shut down. ADOT officials say there is no estimated time to reopen the highway. Drivers are advised to expect delays and avoid the area. article...
