There is the real truth. All their fake "outrage" over Sessions in the first place was phony. If they TRULY believed that Sessions was a "racist" and "nazi" and unfit for the job as they were screaming when he was chosen and then going through the confirmation process...then they would be cheering Pres. Trump on to fire him.

I disagree with you. I know - big surprise right?

Nothing has changed with their level of support for Sessions. I think he is a white supremacist and broke the law multiple times when he lied under oath. However, this has nothing do with Sessions and everything to do with the fact that by removing Sessions Trump would make it easier for him to attempt to control this investigation by replacing Sessions with someone who would be much more friendly to Trump AND on the inside of this investigation.

I have a quasi-conspiracy theory that goes like this: Trump is trying to piss Sessions off so he will resign then when the Senate goes on their August recess he can make a recess appointment and put a lap dog in the AG's office. That lap dog will then fire Mueller as Trump tries again to squash the Russia investigation.
