people really believe the wall will greatly reduce illegal immigration? many fly in, come in by sea or even come in by Canada. This wall is a symbol of people's ignorance on the topic of immigration. I completely believe in borders and protecting one's country but this is a super dumb way to spend a ton of money and it's insulting to anyone who works hard and pays taxes. "but bro, Mexico will pay!" lol, no they won't and why would they... there are so many illegal immigrants from so many other countries. Mexico is a great scapegoat.

I'm sure there's a way to spend the 21.6B (lower end estimate) on much more effective methods in reducing illegal immigration. That money can also go towards helping veterans or revitalizing cities that built the economy once upon a time and have since been long neglected (Detroit for example)

Finally, only a real cunt would use children as a bargaining chip to get their useless wall built - what an unethical power play. In a many cases, sending them back to their war-torn shit holes is the equivalent of giving them the death penalty.
