How to tell Google that a link has been deleted (DMCA)

I've received what appears to be a valid DMCA complaint. Having amended the page and brought the link into compliance with the DMCA, how do I inform Google that the page should be reinstated. Separately, a page has been removed following a complaint but Google doesn't seem to know this.

There is/was a section to report that a link has been made compliant or simply removed. I cannot for the life of me find it now that it's needed. This is not the counter-notification function, just a method to report the change to Google. Such a thing does exist.

--------------------------

On a separate but related note, I've received a handful of invalid DMCA complaints purportedly from Chaturbate. After contacting them to complain, they've said people are using their information to issue false complaints. Has anyone been a victim of this? How does one distinguish between a Chaturbate (or Multi Media LLC) generated complaint versus a false complaint?

In my case, the false complaint listed the correct LLC and sounded plausible, however the pages contained links to profiles without anything else. Chaturbate said this was not their complaint and cited a Techdirt article.

Bend over and say Please Sir!

Google covers their ass and abuses yours ...

Look, if Google didn't have shit for brains they would just ignore this mass attack of fraudulent Chaturbate DCMAs that were forged -- or even do something about it.

By inaction on Google's part and your subsequent losses -- they are placing undue burden on parties they know to be innocent just to cover their Google ass -- so fuck them.

You're like those Jewish journalists who call out Google and Facebook for not doing enough to tackle "hate speech", when they're already labeling anyone to the right of Marx a Nazi.

Don't take it for granted.

This particular complaint is definitely valid. It constitutes infringement (user-generated). I swear there was an actual form one could use, not unlike the counter-notice form, to report that a link had been fixed.

Google URL Removal Tool

To remove a url from Google, first make sure that you are logged into your Google accounts. Next, go to the Google webmaster tools and click on the New Removal Request. Then, type in the exact url that you want removed and then click continue. Finally, click Remove this page. You will see that there is a pending request for your URL removal.

We have deleted so many pages now to try and correct errors

Google is suddenly in "the news" for delisting pirate websites and removing pirated links to them. Hey nothing wrong with that

By posting pirated content ,just removing it does not justify anything. Just like if you steal a car, if you get caught , giving it back will not clear you of criminal charges, why this should be different. Google now tries to use " one strike and you are out" .
