in my opinion the arrangement is great, you got a good songwriter IF it's not band jams later fossilized into songs. What I found not fitting is the dryness of the synth & the non-stopping forceful vibrato singing which kinda destroys the picture for me, which is a shame. Maybe she is going for a Jefferson Airplane feeling?

Every band member writes full songs, and we than make it our own by just filling in our parts as we play the song. I hear you on the vibrato, but thats just the way she sings. I had to get used to it too, but now I dont want her to change anything anymore. These days all singers sing in the same way.. so i like it like this. I guess its all about taste. The synth sounds: this is just the signal from the mixer, so no studio quality. |
