New York City Police say they are responding to reports of an explosion at a bus terminal in Manhattan.
The incident reportedly happened on Monday morning at the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square.

An explosion was reported Monday near the Port Authority Bus Terminal, sending early morning commuters scrambling. The NYPD said it's investigating the incident, and have cleared out the A, C and E subway lines that sit beneath the building. The alleged blast also shuttered the 1, 2 and 3 subway lines and locked down the area around the bus depot, which is between West 40th and West 42nd Sts. and Eighth and Ninth Aves. ?I was exiting the Port Authority and the National Guard was running towards something shouting ?Go, Go, Go,?? commuter Keith Woodfin tweeted Monday morning. Designer Chelsea LaSalle tweeted that she was ?stuck in a running stampede at port authority bus terminal due to bomb scare. cops EVERYWHERE.?
The bus terminal, which services commuter buses from New Jersey as well as long-distances ones by Greyhound and Peter Pan, handles an average 250,000 passengers a day.

I live here in New York City and use the Port Authority from time to time. This attack, along with the recent driver mowing down bikers in SoHo last month and with the Christmas Holiday Tourist Rush in full swing....yikes. Time to relocate.

They are more than monthly now but that's because France's muslim population is @ 11% Luckily for Germans the muslim population is only at 5% so you're not quite at monthly attacks but pretty damn close!
