Who cares.. the world is fucked anyway.. it will only be worse and worse.

I saw the shopping frenzy before Christmas and I believe this can't last long. People buy so much crap they don't even need. Expensive stuff, like the latest smartphones, for their small spoiled kids. The amount of waste and production is crazy and the poor get poorer.

I waited 1.5 hour in front of the local shopping mall just to pick up a tiny gift I had ordered online.. it was 10 PM, I left at 11:30 cause there were so many people waiting before me! Insane..

low and medium skilled people will be out of jobs very soon even some high skilled jobs will get axed...

-lawyers for example...90% of all work done by lawyers is research...machines do this really really well

-most doctors...with new technology and data most doctors will be out of a job because diagnosis is a huge part of their work and treatment is just a matter of following procedure and analyzing data...machines do this really really well

-pilots/drivers/captains...self driving tech is here today...planes and boats are next

-accountants...LOL

-bank clerks/tellers/workers etc....gone to online banking...

-webdesigners...the new DIY websites like WIX look mighty fine and in 5 years they will be 95% of all content on the net

-insurance jobs...LOL...databases will do the work...

-construction jobs...I am not talking about the brick layers I mean the semi skilled workers...tech is replacing everything

-journalists....Associated press uses AI to write 3000 reports...

-secretaries...Alexa and Siri will be doing your shit soon...


I did not even go in to low skilled jobs that will obviously fall to automation....our market is shrinking at an alarming rate...adult homosapiens with jobs will be in the minority in 10-20 years....there has never been a time like this where tech has reached "Critical mass" to endanger human jobs so much...I would say that 50-60% of all homo sapiens are not capable of becoming middle skill let alone high skill workers...high skill workers are maybe 10-20% of all homo sapiens...and even those high skilled jobs will eventually fall to automation and AI or "AI"

this szenario will never happen because it does not make sense to produce for people who do not have money.

away from that there are SO MANY new jobs in new industries around that there will be a big requirement in workers with special skills.

but sure someone have to see and ACCEPT this future and not try to resolve the problems by bringing a few thousand coal workers back to the coal mines.

sure in the big trains into the future are already other countries as the USA but after a decade of suffer they will have learned that also.
the world after trump will hopefully have more hope and more brain in use.

imagine how many people are living only from this industry today worldwide.
all this jobs did not exist 20 years ago.
away from that the era of slavery would have had the same effect.

robots will change a lot but they can not destroy economies.
but yes - the low skilled and dumb will have less fortune in this kind of economy. that´s why education is the only answer.
education would also help voters to make the right decisions.

the problem with this is that the companies who will be killing jobs the most have rich clients...

for example take boston dynamics, they make those robots that do back flips...or take for example a company that is developing AI or should I say "AI" because it is not real artificial intelligence but it is good enough to beat a human at chess or go...these companies are not killing THEIR customers they are making a valuable product for people who already have money and want to make even more...

the more the market shrinks due to automation, the bigger the need will be for automation in order to stay competitive...in the end the company that employs the least humans will be the most competitive...



the demand for high skilled workers will be huge I acknowledge this 100%...like the demand for beautiful women with huge tits is huge...but the reality is that most people are not like this and never will be...

the internet did create millions of jobs but out of the billions of homo sapiens that exist, only 1% of them are actually capable of making a living on the internet...I can also argue that the internet killed millions of jobs, amazon for example shut down millions of shops globally...but employs 500.000 people...one step forward, two steps back...

rich is not a question of how much money one have - it is a question how much he can buy with it.

so in fact robots are creating prosperity on one hand because they are able to produce things cheaper and that makes the products cheaper. cheaper products = more prosperity.

the good thing on economy is that it is kind of a perpeduum mobile.
it is like a river what will not go over a mountain but find a way around it.

Imagine what happens when science defeats death one day. then all funeral companies are immediately broke :-)


correct - at at the end of that people will complain their "poorness" because they will have only 3 cars and 7 TVs and can only afford 12 weeks holidays per year.
THIS is actually the level we are already complaining.

also correct BUT they will be only needed if the others without such a job are able to buy.
so at the end of all that will be a modern slavery where the slaves are the robots and everyone with a higher than the average income have to pay huge tax.
if not - he damages his own better life.

1% is just the top of the iceberg.
you do not have to see only this millions of idiots who are trying to become bigger than google and make 500 bucks per month. even these people are part of the buying economy what need hosting, computers, software and much much more.
if you really have a look at the complete issue you will see that the spendings went up since the internet. and spending are the base of ANY productivity.
if you also see that in the time when spendings went up the average prices went down you can ONLY explain it with a growth of prosperity.

sure you will never have a reflection of that to ALL classes of the society. but this was always like that in human history. 1000 years ago the people where unable to buy salt because it was too expensive.
I am happy that this is not the case anymore even when it killed a few jobs and made a few thousand companies changing their strategy.

less work means more time - more time means more innovations and more ideas for more prosperity. the world is not black and white. there are many colors, many ways many missing innovations and every day new opportunities.
negative thinkers try to hold the steak on the plate til it is rotten. positive thinkers will fill the plate every day with something new.

this is what we are born for - to give life a sense and evolution a new direction in each new generation.
internet just made evolution faster but it did not stop it.

Even now what jobs are being created to those lost in retail as more buy online?

We already see lowering of real incomes for most, rising unemployment and it shows no signs of slowing down. The loss in tax revenues is reflected in the huge debts countries are running up. Taxes are raised from people's incomes.

in the 21 years i am making my life from internet I got so many machines and each of them make we want another one. not one of them saved me time or made me less work.

renewable energy i.e alone in the EU there are more than 1,5 million people wanted additionally to the 3 million new jobs what are created already.

traffic and logistic will also have bigger needs in a globalized world.

why you always complain the east for being smarter as guys like trump?

do you think it is a good idea to cut a leg from a marathon runner just because the other is too lazy to run?

nobody said that automatized industry will not effect the job market but that happens hundred times before and we are still here and well.

the simple logic that someone who can not buy if he does not make money and that it does not make sense to make any kind of production for such people seems not to be enough for you to understand that your apocalypse will not happen.

the world will resolve this issue same as all others before. and in 100 years people will still complain their situation - no matter how well they are.

and it is a fact that there will be countries hitting harder as others - those are the ones with the alltime yesterday thinkers what are afraid of the future.

there was a world before us and there will be one after us - and no - it will not be a world without problems because such a world has never exist.

Automation has already destroyed millions of jobs. You and all your computers, manufacturing, fast food, retail, etc. And few jobs to replace those lost. Then there's Globalisation. They promised jobs would be created to replace those lost, where are they? Serving in a shop doesn't pay what producing the items used to.

Your scenario of no one earning enough is again bullshit. It's the poor and lower middle class who will suffer. Now tell that's not already happening.

Lower wages > Lower tax revenues > Higher welfare payments = Higher debt. Now tell us how that's not happening.
