This was before the social media selfie & computer generation though.

Now investigators can get instant access to data from multiple sources via email or file download with no issues. In the Clinton days their were obviously computers but the access to data was nothing like it is today they used to have to go hard copies of documents and go through boxes of papers to get data.

That being said, when things like this happen it takes a long time to get the information to the people so the public can absorb it over time. If you give people too much information too quickly they don't believe it.

There was obviously some level of collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign. At the very least the Russian government was feeding them some information. At the most their online marketing company was working directly with the Russians. We'll see.

This investigation has already turned up money laundering. At the same time we have a pattern of obstruction of justice.

When it comes time for a vote the Republicans will skewer Trump. They are done with his bullshit and nonsense, and are tired of defending him. They will vote to remove him.

If they don't impeach him for colluding with the Russians, it will be money laundering, and if it's not for money laundering it will be obstruction of justice.

At a certain point in time it will become obvious that he will be removed from office and at that point he can either resign or be removed from office.

There will be no civil war. Trump's hardcore base is small, and even then most of those will not have the desire or will (or ability) to rise up. In the event Trump resigns or is removed from office, Trump's base will not take up arms - It's not like they will be going up against Hillary Clinton. In the event of Trump's removal from office Pence moves in to become President. In the event Pence is also removed (This is possible in the event of collusion and perhaps obstruction of Justice), next in the line of Presidential Succession is Paul Ryan, Orrin Hatch, and then Rex Tillerson.
