Silly cam girls and their stupid ideas on DMCA

A few weeks ago I got a DMCA from Google, in the description:
- stolen video
- revenge porn
- I want to kill myself
- I feel bad
- my life is over.
- I cry every day etc.

The active cam girl obviously wrote it. Active, working, all the time.
Of course, I not have any video, (whitelabel), 2 weeks of waiting for cancellation.
result. website statistics have dropped.
today I got a positive response from DMCA
we'll see when the statistics come back.

and the poor cam-girl is still active, she's working, she did not kill herself, her life is not over.

all camgirls are squirrel-shit loopy and to make matters worse, every stupid thing they do gets backed up by sad white knights who think they have a chance with the tart by agreeing to everything they say or do.

Welcome to fucking life.

Yet, you wouldn't know that's how it is in the real world, because you can't have a real social life being stuck in the fucking basement.

Does she really think it will change a thing? Once it's online it's forever online. Users of 4chan and other sites like that won't care. If she did some more deep googling she would probably find it all what she did on cam. What is done is done. She should not be in this business in the first place if she wants privacy. People are ridiciulous.

to explain:
The DMCA was sent anonymously, so you do not know who did it.
It seems strange to me
- a stupid cam girl sent them
- someone who wants to bring my page down in the google ranking (not just mine because there were other pages in the application)

As we know, the DMCA affects the ranking in serps.
From the morning I see that my site is recovering.

Due to the stupidity described in the DMCA, I think that someone has found a way to lower google traffic.

The part that gets me about these girls doiing this is the Cam companies do NOT regulate them.

I have asked time and time again to promote with photos and the girls say no. In the long run thats a loss for the cam company as well.

Not good business.

We had a DMCA recently from a "retired" camgirl for a pic on a white label feed. Came from cam model protection. Google is re-instating but wtf?
They DMCA'd the whole feed over 1 pic. Fuck knobs,

Promote models who do not know how to do a DMCA?
And, it's sad.

Got a similar problem but with Male performer. Im not a big fans of gay / male performer but there is some section for gay male shemale on few of my cam site.

Get those male take down request WAY More often compare to ladies performers.
The request sent to me from CB support ALL THE TIME at the request of the performer.

CB support is great to explain to me in details etc... as of why but its still bother me.

This is not a DMCA is like as soon as you send them sales they track the traffic where it come from and request you take them down. ( A real pathern )
Crazy but it has happen to me more then once always after a good week payout when sale are rising.

I don't suspect CB of anything but more the Cam performer trying to Steal the user this way.
Need to mention they are still working on Chaturbate so why you ask take down from affiliates sending you sales ? hummmm

I wonder When we take the profile down what happen with the cookie ?
Are we still getting credit for traffic sent prior the take down or all cookie get cancel and now FREE user spender to the performer ?

scratching my head

I did a search for the girl on the cam site they say she is on. Nada. Nowhere. Starting to wonder if this is just a case of some assholes trying to kill competition for friends or whatever. In the DMCA they gave her cam name and her real name. Nice work.

I really hate to say this but 98% of all the cam performers out there have no idea how real business is being dealt and have no idea of the amount of work and resources it takes to run a successful site. They act on "feelings", sadly often spiteful for no reason because they don't understand the affiliate model that's been helping our business (and other business types) thrive for years.

With that said, it's almost not their fault since no one ever explained them what affiliates are and what they can do for them. A few affiliates also have a weird way to promote, which I don't always agree on but, to each their own.

Many also don't understand what using some of these sites with affiliates mean in terms of their content being use for promo. In the end, they're just people wanting to make money using third party sites with a user friendly interface. They cam, they get paid and, for many, it stops there.

Maybe it would be a good idea for the big cam sites to have "formation days" on those matters so the performers can understand the difference between stealing and helping promote?

...just a thought

"Blah blah blah dumb stupid blah blah blah"

Yet here we are totally depending on their creativity and performances to pay our bills.
Trying to preach to them how to do business when it's their business to do it the way they want.

Instead of whining about cam models just get on cam and spread your own cheeks and show everybody "how to do it right".

Yeah, just like Pepsi makes money off restaurant traffic but yanks their shit if you use their product in a fucked up way.

They can go offline and make way more.
They don't need us; they do this because it's safer and they don't have to go out in the cold.

I think you're missing the point as the issue is about DMCA notices being sent to affiliates promoting whitelabel cam sites.

In the end, it's just a big misunderstanding of the affiliate model since not all webcam platform use affiliates and there isn't a "crash course" for that kind of stuff.

What performers do live in their shows is obviously AMAZING, hard and takes a lot of creativity and dedication. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the hardest job in term of virtual sex work and I have a huge respect for all who webcam on a daily basis and as their first source of income.

Site owners and affiliates are absolutely dependant of this creativity as if there was no performers, there wouldn't be any porn to promote and sites to be coded.

Although, most performers aren't educated in the old affiliate model and some seem to perceive promotional platforms as people who just trade their work for free.

I still think big webcam platforms should teach all new performers about what they should expect and not expect in terms of seeing their content used on other sites. It would just avoid any future confusion.

DMCA was created to stop the producers/models from dragging you into court to prove you have a
right to use the content.

Websites asked for DMCA to become law, not content producers and models.

You asked for it, you got it. DMCA

I get what you guys are saying, but if an affiliate program provides marketing materials for affiliates, getting DMCAs and penalized for using those is bullshit..

^Also, the only thing that should be ok DMCAing is if a webmaster is using screenshots/recorded videos that isn't provided by the affiliate program or that didn't get special permission from the cam company..
