there is no longer a "view image" tab in image search results

"search by image" also gone

Actually it's meant to drive users to use Googles new "saved images" & "share image" features which shares direct links or saves the direct link to your favorites.

Nothing Google does anymore is to benefit site owners or anyone else but Google or a nations government. Remember that.
