He will likely ask for rescission which will allow him to cut parts of the bill. Once he formally submits his request Congress has 45 days to approve it in the House and Senate. If they don't it fails automatically.

So, no, Trump isn't about to dismantle shit. He may be about to ask for permission to do that and I have a feeling he is not going to get it.

Reports say his address will also cover Iran and whether or not we pull out of the nuclear deal with them.

Do you realize that people's grandmothers are getting kicked out of HUD housing complexes in FL and likely elsewhere?

Trump cut funding and now Hud can't help subsidize housing costs so many of the complexes are now kicking out their elderly residents so they can resell the units as condos..

Kidding aside.. No one can do anything about what a building owner does with his property. If the owners of those complexes decide HUD checks aren't cutting it and there's bigger money to be made you're not stopping that with government budgets.

hopefully. more details show it seems to be a smaller cut to CHIP and not the $15B I had originally read.

My grandmother is in a nursing home.. these are people who live on their own usually on social Securty and due to Trump's cuts to HUD the housing units can't afford these people anymore and due to the tax cuts its become more profitable to kick out the old people and convert the units to condos and sell them off.
