It's a documentary how the Ney York Times writes about Trump as president.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8106552/?ref_=nv_sr_1 The documentary is made to show how thoroughly they work to constantly and relentlessly dig up dirt about Trump, they pride themselves doing it, and they obviously gave the green light to film this to put him in a negative light. The great thing of this documentary however, is that you really see how the one track mindedness of everyone involved at the NYT puts them in this incestuous bubble of blindly chasing 1 story with 1 angle collectively for more than a year without any real results. They don't take a step back and ask themselves even once if there is even a real story to begin with. Whenever someone digs up a new piece of dirt from Trumps private life which has no relevance at all, they're excited, make snarky comments, laugh and cannot wait to post it. They never ask themselves why they're doing it, why they keep clinging on to a non existent goal (the Russia collusion), and who gave them this order and why to begin with. This documentary is an eye-opener of how many people are working day in and day out, for years on end, on a useless witch hunt that has no end because it doesn't exist, without ever questioning it. I thought journalists were smarter but all of them come across as attic bloggers with blinders on, chasing their next gossip story fix about their target. Ironically this documentary shows the NYT in a negative light, instead of their target. All i could think of, was if these journalists would actually work on facts and news that matters instead of wasting all that time and all their resources in this never ending smear campaign, people actually could get informed about important events instead of getting a daily dose of TMZ gossip. Great documentary, and i advise anyone who takes mainstream media seriously to watch this. You'll never look at it the same again ![]() |
