what the hell is this now , we have had a few emails asking for extra id from affiliate programs under something call "getting to know your customer" is this law, and then out sourcing personal information to who knows who wtf,

we dropped ddf and wetpussycash because of this, sending w8 forms to the affiliate programs or uploading forms to the program all good,

why do you want passports and utility bills after 20 years of partnership, how about you send us your passports and utility bills so we can know for sure who you are.

Except that if these documents leak through a hack or negligence, they can be used to steal your identity.

People that have your documents can hack into your online accounts using social engineering - that includes stealing domains, crypto assets, phone numbers, etc.
(Or even getting credit cards in your name in the US? I'm not sure about this.)

Trafficpimps informed us today also, KYC law seems to make them ask us for more info than needed. I am just not comfortable having my personal info stashed somewhere else.

I got the same emails. You would have to be insane to send documents like that to affiliate programs you barely know. If theses documents get sold or leaked then you are fucked. Identity theft is no joke.

this is my exact point, how many immigrants [lets make it easy for everyone GREEN CARD] look for fake papers with good fake i.d, it goes on everyday

off topic, its amazing these days when new laws [or more like acts/statutes RULEZ] are brought in, they immediately affect everyone , in the past the new [rulez] would effect everyone from that date on, i.e driving license i am in the age group that can drive odd vehicles [buses with trailers, motorbikes with sidecars, tractors with carts, fucking tarmacking roller machines] but a new license holder can not, blah blah blah i need a drink its to hot to work
