Oktoberfest 2018 Thank You

The European show circuit ended almost 2 weeks ago unless you count the chaos of Oktoberfest which got me home 1 week ago. It was an amazing 5 days in Munich shared with a bunch of great people. Due to the scheduling of the shows and the gap between the end of Prague and the start of Oktoberfest it wasn't easy for many people to join us. But somehow over 40 people managed to come. Some for all days while others for 1 or 2 days. I won't post a bunch of pictures because a) I don't know how and b) JFK has much better pictures than I do. Most of my pictures look like Michael J Fox was holding the camera and Ronald Reagan was in all of them.

I wish I could list everyone that came but I will be more personal in an email to them because it means the world to me and the others that help coordinate the show that they take time out of their schedule to make the event as great as it is.

But I have to give a few thank you's. Michael and Joel who have been helping since the end of last year to try and get this year to happen. It was not easy I tell you. The panic and daily bouts of heart failure they had to endure from me until we finally got confirmation of some tables. We learned a lesson together and think we will have something better for next year. I am indebted for your help but even more so for your friendship.

Sascha was there also always trying to help. Hopefully next year you can join us for the full event.

JFK as always thank you for documenting the madness. Also for being someone to lean on during those first beers each day after a rough night.

Lastly, I have to thank my angel Ines. There is no better person in this industry and I am blessed to be able to have her for a friend. She was the rock of the whole event. It does not happen without Ines. Anyone who has gone the past 2 years and enjoyed themselves owes it to Ines. Words can not express how thankful Michael, Joel and I are for everything you do/did. 2019 will happen and of course 99.9% of it will be because of you.

With that being said, Planning for 2019 is underway. Oktoberfest starts on September 21st next year so if anyone is hoping to come start looking for your hotel rooms now because as you know they can get expensive. Especially during the first weekend.

Never hesitate to contact Joel, Michael, Ines or myself if you wish to be a part of next year. Also if anyone has a spare liver to donate I would be grateful.

It was a great time, even with the damage to our livers. Everyone seemed to have a blast and we didn't lose anyone (even Todd made it back) so always a good sign.
