The wheels of justice move very, very slowly. Keep in mind Watergate took six years. This investigation is just getting started. This will continue after Trump is out of office, be it if he is impeached or someone else is elected. Even if they fire Mueller, a lot of the investigation is already is at the state level and will continue. Then when the Democrats are back in control they will start demanding investigations into what happened. Then they will demand investigations into other things, such as how Nunes handled the investigation.

We had a dozen investigations into Hillary Clinton. We can have a dozen into Trump.

The difference between the two is Hillary Clinton was found innocent and had zero charges put against her or any of her immediate team.

Trump's investigation has resulted in multiple guilty federal felony pleas, multiple federal prison sentences and plea bargains to flip and give information on Trumps con machine.
