An alligator pretending to be a door mat surprised residents in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana on Friday.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page shared a photo of the reptile relaxing on a front porch. “So….you never know what may show up on your door step!” the post read. “Just another day in the life of a St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy.”

I remember in San Diego opening the door to my yard to find an 8 foot rattler pretending to be a door mat !!!!
