The baby boomers are retiring. We are soon to lack people not jobs. Unemployment is at a many decade low and the work force participation rate is also at a many decade low.

Obama, Trump or whoever is to come is going to have a different economic puzzle to solve.

Don't believe the clap trap that is put out there. The US population is growing steadily and there should be no shortage of labour.

In fact with more jobs being lost to automation the opposite will be true. Except for companies that can employ cheap labour or those who want high skilled and not prepared to train them.

That is the weirdest thing. Any facts for that? I know California is one of the last states with welfare as we used to think of it but is it even a thing as a percent a population?

Most states froze the welfare benefit decades ago. They then moved long term recipients to SSI. I have owned low income housing for decades. Very few actual welfare recipients.
