mp4 wont play on server.
I was cutting a video extracted to mp4 and it will only play sound no video. It plays fine on the computer.
I downloaded a trailer thats a mp4 and it played fine on server. Im not sure if i did something wrong extracting the cut clip.

yea you stated.. so something to do with the file being converted, working on computer but not on actual website.. seems like some sort of corruption/html5 issue.. good luck

Do you have a Windows server with no video codec pre-installed? If so, then you need to download and install a proper windows codec, since ther server version of Windows does not come with one pre-installed like the desktop version on your own local home computer does. That's why it's different.

I think i got it. I changed a setting to s264/avc profiles in my video editor. Im not sure what this is but It looks fixed. Now im going to go upload it and see how it looks.
