Adult SEO References Please...

For an active phone sex site. It's a social network so the girls do a lot of posting which helps, but I need some content and authority from solid backlinks.


I can (and have) hired SEO people from freelance sites but I always get the same crap. Occasional forum posts, press releases, articles, etc. Nothing that really generates traffic or increases my organic rankings.

Also looking for someone who really knows their stuff when it comes to Adwords (Google, Bing).

Could be a long-term deal for the right person.

Yeah your probably right. I've got SEMRush, Webmaster tools and tons of other stuff to help along the way. It's just sooo tedious and time consuming (to do it right). I hate it when I get lazy and try to outsource everything.

I just see other adult sites that are ranking like crazy and I think WTF are they doing?

Save your money and don't hire a freelancer. If you do, make sure its someone who is good with auditing and fixing your site structure. 99% of the time people suck at it.

With any money left over, use it to either build sites, acquire sites, or buying high quality links from webmasters. And skip the $5 links unless your method is to churn and burn. Buy on sites that actually already rank for stuff.

tbh tho I've had zero success (and spent mid $xx,xxx) hiring "experts". They all seem to be stuck in 2006, focusing on keyword/anchor analysis and non-contextual header/sidebar/footer links when in 2018 you need brand recognition, co-citation/co-occurrence, and contextual links. Churn and burn with cheap/spammy link packages from blackhatworld, however...that shit actually works for me, just gotta make new sites all the time.

Do you ever manage to rank for high volume keywords with the cheap BHW links? Or is it mostly longtail?

My thoughts too. I have seen so many SEO "experts" and companies that promise amazing results. But when you Google their company name or "adult SEO", you cant find them anywhere near the top 5 Google pages or even worse... I visit their site and my firewall blocks it warning me its not safe!

So these companies should know what they are doing right? Have anyone here heard of them? Have you used them and if so, can you vouch for them?

And to the SEO experts / companies posting here, why are you guys not showing up in the top 5-10 results in Google ?

NOT trying to be mean to anyone, I'm just trying to get a grasp on the adult SEO service.

Almost exclusively long-tail (which there's more of than you'd ever believe), and FWIW my sites have a shit-ton of (embedded) content and use a lot of data mining/machine learning to optimize time-on-site/bounce rate...a mechbunny or smartcj tube or cam whitelabel probably wouldn't see the same success. In fact I've talked to a webmaster running a mechbunny tube with mostly porn-star (brazzers, teamskeet, etc) type shit who tried the same shit as me, and had no success.

but bhw churn-and-burn can work, if you have good on-site metrics and a unique script and don't mind eventually getting de-ranked.

i mean just look at what's ranking, low-effort heavily-spammed sites (using custom scripts) still rank in every query, but only for a few months at a time

I used to do a lot of BL in my SEO. Had serveral VPNs and Magic Submitter (along with a few other tools). Created burner sites, 1,000s of web 2.0 site that I blasted with backlinks, had several different campaign styles that I would alternate.

Kept this going 24/7 for about 8 months. If done right you will only lose your burner sited to de-indexing, but that's why they are burner sites.

Built up a great deal of backlinks but the 'real-world' result was minimal. Not worth it IMO. Paying for captchas, VPN, BL software, etc. At one point I was running 5 VPNs, each with multiple and diverse campaigns.

I'd rather just have a good site that ranks for the content and service that it has. Has a better long-tern effect.

For those of you that have a blog or forum and receive some submission like, "Hey nice post, I really think your contribution is beneficial and serves a greater purpose. I will be sure to mark your post and follow often". Crap like that, we'll that's crappy BL stuff.

Used to be easy to rank, but now it takes great content (and a lot of it) and links to relevant high authority sites. SMM and Adwords. I think BL is a very temp solution that will most likely do more harm than good. Not knocking it, I'm sure there are pros that can make it work. It 'did' work for me, but just not the results that I thought were worth it.

Yes I run an honest content site. I Launched a softcore erotic glamour site in May. We have unique content that we shoot our self. Original copy writing for model / scene descriptions.

That's why i need to know a quality SEO company that people on this forum can vouch for. I don't want to risk my site being penalized just because a rookie SEO "guru" blasts 1000 Back Links from low quality sites to get a temporary boost.

So have anyone here used the companies I listed above that I find by Googling Adult SEO?

Or do you recommend another company that you have used with great results over a long period of time. No black hat hokey pokey tactics please

Well the alternative strategy would be to publish full member area videos to your site without the owner's consent, get traffic and backlinks cause surfers will flock to your site. Rank for every keyword and trademark imaginable and bathe in all the free traffic.

After a few years, you go legit and corporate or go hide out in Prague where nobody can find you.

Very true.. Exactly - it's about the money. I've got to keep telling myself that.

I have an active site that brings in good sales. Plus the users all like the site and new features and it is their 'go to' place for what they like. User generated content also really helps and all of this costs nothing compared to a major SEO campaign.

I suppose I was looking at SEO from a vanity aspect. I agree - fuck ranking, concentrate on our clientele, treat them right, give them what they want and the sales will be there.
