Do you mean the padlock not being green? I noticed that while checking out on a site I had never given my cc details to before the other day.

Clicked the padlock and it 'said' it was secure, so I went ahead and all proved to be well, but I'm sure a lot of people still do look for a green padlock for reassurance...

ah yes, Not green anymore. For some reason, I thought it used to say "site secured". But it never said that. The non-https site still say "not secure"

You are right - It DID say it. Link above should clear confusion.

Cool. I know my memory is going. But that makes me feel better.

I remember thinking the wording was bad. Gives people the wrong impression.
Seeing "Site Secure" in the browser next to
mypasswordstealingsite.com/bankofamerica/

I ve noticed it before and not liking it. That green icon somehow is giving trust. Firefox is still using green one
