Trump bragged about his intelligence and his gut being smarter than others’ brains in bizarre Washington Post interview

President Donald Trump gave a bizarre interview on his intelligence to The Washington Post on Tuesday.

Trump whined about Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome H. “Jay” Powell, whom he appointed.

“I’m doing deals, and I’m not being accommodated by the Fed,” Trump said. “They’re making a mistake because I have a gut, and my gut tells me more sometimes than anybody else’s brain can ever tell me.”

While Trump thinks his gut is smart, he also went on to praise his intelligence, saying he is smarter than the scientists who have reached consensus on the reality of man-made climate change.

“One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we’re not necessarily such believers,” Trump said. “You look at our air and our water, and it’s right now at a record clean.”

“As to whether or not it’s man-made and whether or not the effects that you’re talking about are there, I don’t see it,” he added.

Trump’s brilliance — in his mind — is also more clever than the Central Intelligence Agency.

In the CIA’s assessment, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

But Trump’s brain, or maybe his gut, disputes the CIA’s conclusion.

“Maybe he did and maybe he didn’t,” Trump said. “But he denies it. And people around him deny it. And the CIA did not say affirmatively he did it, either, by the way. I’m not saying that they’re saying he didn’t do it, but they didn’t say it affirmatively.”

In February, Trump also disputed the CIA’s assessment that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election.

This is not the first time Trump has claimed superior intelligence.

“I’m very consistent. I’m a very stable genius,” Trump boasted in July.

However, in January, Trump was defensive about his mental stability.
