I totally understand this, but i think people exaggerate the concern. The first cookie gets the sale, so this only matters if models are telling members to quit using their account and create a different one. Amber isn't doing anything shady, she's too sweet for that

I'm not saying she is doing it - But so many are playing that game - PM your big players and get them to sign again via their affiliate ID - They are promised more bang for their buck - Affiliates lose as usual...

1- first cookie argument: this isn't true for whitelabels since the cookie will be planted on the chaturbate domain.
2- broadcasters profiles have social media links, what do you guys think happen in Direct Messages or even publically in the feed

So, guys, to hide all the banners and links that are linking outside of your WL you can put a simple CSS code into your WL! Is made by drexl and it works perfect:

a[rel="nofollow"] {
visibility:hidden;
}
img[rel="nofollow"] {
visibility:hidden;
}

Could you give more info about this? I'm not an expert with all the details. I thought that if someone new comes to my white label, and even if they click a model's signup link, I would still get the sale. Same with sending straight to CB. Is that incorrect?? Cookies are domain based

- Sending directly to CB is okay because you stay on the same domain
- Sending from WL: you lose because you don't plant a cookie against the chaturbate domain. So you might see a hit in the stats but it will never become a free registration for you (it will for the model who overlayed though because she is on the cb domain).

We remove all links to CB when on the Whitelabel,

Inbound links are all relative to the root domain so this is easy but I still see tons of outbound links to chaturbate with absolute path. I don't know what is "removed"

To a business point of view as well as an ethical point of view it makes no sense to allow affiliate links on the site itself. Imagine Amazon allowing its employees to plant their affiliate links on amazon.com with a few links to aliexpress.com and overlays on the signup button

Thanks for the reply, Drexl! I see that this model Amber is linking to a custom domain 'amberlaray.com' and that domain redirects to her CB affiliate link. The white label didn't remove her custom link, so in this situation I think you may be right. I tried your css code but it removes all the images from profiles, even when they don't link to anything. Is there a way to strip outbound links but leave the images intact?

Yes sir, here is some code that will preserve the non-clickable images:

a[rel="nofollow"], a[rel="nofollow"] img {
visibility:hidden;
}

Note that in this case some broadcasters will be able to post images with "instructions", if you know what I mean

The code is provided as a starting point to help solve a shared issue. I don't have authority and it can surely be improved/modified by yourself or others.

Steve is right, the links to CB are stripped from WLs. But this model Amber has a custom domain so it wasn't stripped!

Does CB track the credit card info? (so new usernames/cards can be matched to the original referrer for life). I thought that was how they worked.

I don't think cb's revshare is lifetime relative to the customer, but rather it is lifetime relative to the username (which can be used on any chaturbate sites). That has to be confirmed by them, if you can get and answer please share.
