Boeing is lying about why their 737 Max is crashing. They are publicly blaming bad sensors to avoid liability. While the sensors did possibly fail, the only reason the sensors needed to be on the plane in the 1st place was because Boeing tried to shove the biggest engine they could fit onto the 737 airframe in order to compete with the newer Airbus model.

When they did this, they neglected to inform or provide acquitte training for the new systems involved, they instead claim,ed the airplane flew the exact same as previous 737's which was a lie. The fact is the 737 Max could not even stay in the air on take off with out the new sensors, because with the oversize engines it changed the profile of the wings which made the airplane lift itself into a stall with out using a sensor to recalculate the engine thrust to air-speed.
