Fox News - to a large extent - helped to get him elected and has continued to support him.

Some people believe in "their party" no matter what. They will vote Republican no matter what, or will vote Democrat no matter what. In the case of Fox News, they are full on Republican and will support their candidate no matter what. In this case, the candidate - Trump - was completely unqualified, was the most litigated candidate of all time, who started off by covering up his crimes by not releasing his tax returns. Trump, as a candidate, was a horrible candidate all around at all levels. Fox News supported him from the day he became the front runner for the Republican party and will continue to support him until the very end.

It's disgusting.

This president actually spits out dozens of lies every day. He doesn't know what he is talking about, doesn't research anything, never reads, and has no plan for anything. The end result is members of his campaign and his staff are going to prison, there is constant talk of impeachment, and constant talk of criminal charges against him on multiple levels.

This is exactly what happened with Nixon. It was a slow, backwards slide, and the Republican party and members of the Republican party continued to support him until the very end.

I was watching Fox News yesterday and the shows are completely exonerating him saying the Mueller report says he hasn't done anything wrong at all.

I was never a huge fan of Fox News to begin with, but I would watch them from time to time. It was during Obama's administration that I stopped. They were actually following the ambulance who was bringing home an American citizen who had caught Ebola while in Africa. Their running commentary was stunning. They made it sound like Obama brought Ebola to the United States and hundreds of thousands of people were going to die because of it. One of the things they said was "The job of the President is to protect the country, not kill us all". This wasn't news, this was "let's scare people to make Obama look bad".

Fox News isn't news. At all.

Please keep in mind this is only one section of the Mueller report which touches on Manafort handing over data to the Russians.

Not only was Manafort handing over polling data and other information to the Russians, he had Gates sending over polling information on a regular basis using encrypted Whatsapp - and then deleting everything they could.

The Trump campaign was working directly with the Russians. They were turning over all of the information they were asking for, and the Russians used this information to influence the election.

The Russians wanted Trump to win because they thought Trump (via Manafort) would be more receptive to Russia taking over or invading Ukraine. This is the "backdoor" that Manafort and his Russian buddies have been talking about.

The Trump campaign gave internal polling data to the Russians, which they then used to help them win the election. The Russians did this because they wanted to "backdoor" Ukraine.

This is treason at the highest level.

They gave aid to a unfriendly foreign power who was undermining our election.

But this is only a small part of the Mueller report. You have George P who was running around with not one, not two, but three Russian agents in England and George was reporting all of this back to the Trump Campaign.
