I bought some stuff on the Amazon.com and I paid with my Paxum temporary card (True Cash) yesterday. It seems the transaction was successful because Amazon just sent me the package.

I checked balance at Paxum and it seems money remained on the card. :error

So I am not sure if everything went well. But I think Jeff Bezos is already rich enough. :)

I have receive a USD wire from paxum to my Scotiabank CANADIAN bank account. ( i dont have an usd account at my bank, I could have one but i dont unfortunetly )

We're working on re-instating the CAD WIRE withdrawals and as soon as it's done we will also notify you"

Support Staff dosent seems to know what they are talking about time to time LOL. Sorry for your headache. Not long ago Sent a new id for renewal and before wire can be sent paxum support gave me the run around about send address confirmation, Resend id etc. ( i just did few weeks ago. ) :mad:

don't forget to confirm with your bank that they can accept USD wire.

Exactly, all they actually wanted to say is that they "Paxum" can only send in usd. Of course if you point it to a cad or other currency account, your bank will convert it to the currency of your bank account at their own rate. Paxum has not way to know if the acct number you provide is in usd, cad, eu or any other.

paxum become useless with all their problems, sorry to say that

and its dangerous, because you will be reported to tax authority (as foreign bank account is reported by crs standart if you exceed $1200 per month)

much safer is send money directly from sponsor to your bank account
in this case tax authorities will not know about transfer (except you receive more than $10k) and its much safer if you don't want pay all taxes

maybe if you receive many small payments from sponsors paxum still has some sense, but then, you must pay all taxes

Just received my UnionPay card today, came in as a special delivery just like UPS... Shipped from Antigua & Barbuda.

Since im still in the status Printing there is no way for me to activate it so will open a ticket grr...

Unfortunately there will be a minor delay in activation as the processor made some changes to their API for activation and we are finalizing a few details and testing it first to make sure everything is in order. As soon as this process is completed then we will be updating the Unionpay card statuses. This should be completed very soon and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and delay.

I just got my UnionPay card too. I'm in Brazil. Now lets see how long will takes to be able to activate it, since theres no activate option yet, and so check if some ATM will accept it. :D

I also got a new credit card last week, no activation option, so I wrote Paxum, the answer? I can throw the card into the trash. :321GFY
