1,000+ Guns Found During Raid at Posh L.A. Home- Media Silent

TONS OF FIREARMS SEIZED IN EXCLUSIVE L.A. NEIGHBORHOOD

UPDATES- 6:10 PM PT -- We're told one man was arrested inside the house for the crime of selling, possessing or transporting illegal assault weapons. We do not know if he was a squatter or had permission to live in the home. As we reported, the owner hasn't lived there in years and is now in Europe.

4:23 PM PT -- The ATF now says, "Pursuant to an anonymous tip ATF and LAPD became aware of an individual conducting illegal firearms transactions outside the scope of the federal firearm license that the individual possesses." The ATF says they have seized more than 1,000 firearms, adding the public is in no danger.


A massive stockpile of firearms has just been confiscated in a super rich area of Los Angeles ... and the sheer number of guns is jaw-dropping.

The weapons were recovered after a search warrant was served at a home in Bel-Air ... and the huge pile of guns are currently being laid out on the street.

It's all going down right now, near the Playboy Mansion and close to the estate where Michael Jackson died.

Cops got a tip that someone was in the house selling and manufacturing weapons. They are on scene right now.

There are 3 SUV's in the driveway and we know at least 2 are registered to a Cynthia Beck, who also owned the home and may still own it. We do not know if there is any connection between her and the weapons or the search warrant.

A person familiar with the neighborhood tells TMZ, Cynthia hasn't been seen at the house in years, and may be in Europe. The person adds there have been "caretakers" coming and going at the estate. It well could be ... someone knew Cynthia wasn't in the country and squatted in the house.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is the lead agency. We're told they were doing surveillance Wednesday morning before making their move and they are still on the scene.

Our LAPD sources tell us as far as they can see they have not had any problems associated with the residence in question.

Further research suggests the owner Cynthia Beck was the longtime mistress of Gordon Getty, son of the late J. Paul Getty. They have 3 daughters. The Gettys are directly tied to CA governor Gavin Newsom. The Gettys financed all of Newsom's elections. Newsom is also a nephew of Nancy Pelosi.

This raid was near the Playboy mansion. There have been numerous reports about tunnels from the Playboy mansion to surrounding celebrity homes...?

Media silence indicates it's people who are connected to liberal elites.

They will cover it briefly then let the story fade away. You won't see the media follow up on the big questions like WHO was there and WHAT were they doing.. If this was a right-leaning owner of the house connected to a (R) congress member, the media would cover it non-stop for weeks.

It was the top story on CBSnews.com yesterday for half the day... I just looked at the front page of FoxNews and it's no where to be found..

Also for the record.. I don't even know who had these guns.. I didn't read any of the articles but I really have no issue with anyone having that many guns so long as they are not a criminal, not mentally ill and store them in a safe secure location.. They were obviously a collector not like that person was trying to over throw the govt or fund Mexican drug cartels with long rifles and pistols..

It doesn't look like they had a lot of military grade guns, I see only a handful of AR variants in all these piles.. Most are long guns.. (unless they have the AR's separated from what's on those sheets)

The problem in my mind is how did they secure these guns from potential theft and that was way too much ammo to have just stacked around..

On the flip side I don't think anyone should be able to have tons of ammo... There needs to be limits on the ammo because that is a serious threat if there is a fire...

Dude... I don't care if they are a Republican supporter and have that many guns. I don't know why you can't get that through your head. This is the problem with you right wingers you have to project your beliefs onto everyone..


I do not care if someone has guns. I care what the person does with those guns. I care about the mental stability of that person who has those guns..


So as example do I care if some Texas rancher who voted for Trump has tons of guns and shoots them at a gun range or on his property? No.. However Yes I would care if a guy like Gavin McInnes (Proud Boys founder) has a lot of guns because he has incited violence and has a record of doing so.. He should never be aloud to legally carry a gun...


Do I think someone should be carrying around a gun in their glove box or center console of their car and have kids in the car... No that's irresponsible and that person is a threat to society.. Do I care if that same person carries a gun in their car that has a trigger lock or in in a gun safe.. No because that is being responsible...

Just because you like to make shit up doesn't make it true. FYI, there is nothing illegal about owning 1,000's of guns; and the person arrested was a white dude that has already bailed out.
