I dunno how they can do the woods out in the middle of nowhere thing. I do a lot of hiking and offroad adventures when I'm road tripping but damn if I'm alone I get so fucking bored if I'm not doing anything.

Building the house would be ok because I'd be doing something, but I could never just sit there for even a weekend, with nothing to do.

I live in the suburbs, but we have a very quiet household. It's nice. But I love my Internet, my computers, and my Hulu & Netflix.

There is always something to do.
Cutting firewood, repairs, building more shit, cooking, fucking the girl/girls you brought and of course you will always have internet and satellite Not going full caveman

If there is cell signal/internet I'm ok.. but internet gets rare out in the mountains the further you go from major cities. Also no woman are staying in a fucking cabin in the woods with no electricity or phone unless you have them tied up...

Yea so long as there is internet I'm good. When I used to live out in CO, I used to drive to a spot in the mountains with my van and o my ebay listings.

I actually found this cabin on the side of a cliff out in Boulder Canyon. I broke down in my VW in the canyon with no cell signal. I had to climb up the canyon side to the top to get any cell signal and found this near the top.

the way it was hidden there was only one direction you could come up to it and see it.. The glass was old as fuck, was the old school glass that had distortion (wasn't clear like modern glass but wavy) and the window frames were all hand made. No idea how old it was but someone had lived in it with-in the last 10-20 years as they had old rotten water hose running to it and really old electric line that the plastic had all rotted off.
