Why can't smutty.com keep it clean?

Be advised, do not visit Smutty.com

I opened a thread a while back amount Smutty.com, they seemed to be having one too many instances of UA content being posted by "rogue uploaders".

Now, I do realize that things like this can happen legitimately, but in this case it was as if there was nearly no moderation or oversight at all. Shit stayed up after being reporting as UA, site and most importantly, the main page littered with it.

Say what you want about GFY, after it was brought up, The site was cleaned up perfectly.. and stayed clean for a long time.

Now it's right back to more UA shit.. on the main page and others.

How can moderators let this shit slip through? People can just upload any old shit? Would photos of dead horses make it to the main page?

I've never run a user uploaded content site, perhaps someone can enlighten me.

How does sex.com manage to keep the site clean.. Is it by some miracle?

Don't get me wrong, I realize one or two shitty uploaders with bad intentions can fuck you up.. But surely there are steps moderators can take to safe guard their website and their visitors from this kind of shit..?

I'd like to hear from pin site owners as to why this seems to be an unstoppable problem for smutty.com in particular..
