Brazil: Couple Stabs Nine-Year-Old Boy To Death After Makeshift Gender Reassignment Surgery



huan Maycon, 9, was stabbed to death on May 31st by his mother, Rosana da Silva Candido, 27, and lesbian partner Kacyla Damasceno Pessao, 28.

According to Brazil’s Child Protective Services, the boy had a“kind of a sex-change surgery. After removing the penis, they sewed the mutilated region and improvised a version of a female genital organ, making a cut in the groin”

The surgery had apparently been performed with no medical supervision after Rhuan’s mother had decided to turn her son into a girl.

Rhuan’s father had previously contacted Child Protective Services and the police after expressing concerns about the welfare of his son.

Rhuan’s mother and her partner were able to evade the authorities by moving across states and around the country.

Usually fake news is easy to figure out, but this only applies if it's in the US. I cannot read Spanish (Parce que mes parents m'ont fait apprendre le français au lycée!) and I cannot tell if any "real" news sites are carrying the article.

It seems to me like if this was real it would have made it's way to the United States so... I am going to go with "fake".

I somehow get the feeling that it should have hit the mainstream news here but I would be happy to see if it hit the mainstream news in Brazil

There is normally a delay in a US news posting like this, if true, it is because they will verify the story. Takes a bit longer. So look for it in the coming week in the US.

Know the story of Rhuan

Rhuan Maycon, 9, would have been abducted in Acre about 5 years ago by her mother, Rosana Auri da Silva Cândido, 27, after losing custody of her son to her father. Since then, mother and son have undergone several cities in Sergipe, Tocantins, Goiás and the Federal district in the company of the Companion of Rosana, Kacyla Pryscila Santiago, 28 years old, and the daughter of Kacyla, an 8-year-old girl.

The girl also refused contact with her own father, who went to the Federal district to fetch her daughter.

The sister of Rhuan's creation also affirmed to the counselor that the mothers were straightening every day in the hair of the boy, who was the only one who had long hair in the house. There are still suspicions that children were obliged to maintain sexual intercourse with each other. Neighbors reported that they only saw the children when the four moved to the house where they lived in the Federal district and believed to be two girls. The researchers support the theory that the children practically do not leave the house because women feared that the mutilation of the boy was discovered.

It seems like a lot of people in Brazil are asking why the media is downplaying this event.

There were 2 children involved, a boy and a girl, same age and both women were the biological mothers. They hated men and taught the young children to hate them too.

After that they educated themselves via the Internet on how to do a sex change and mutilated the young boy last year. Because the boy was difficult to handle (no surprise after a home sex change operation) they stabbed him in the heart while he slept.

They then cut his body up and tried to dispose of it using their oven. However it obviously was inefficient so they tried to hid it using suitcases and dropping it parts of him around town. Some young men playing football noticed what they were doing and became suspicious and called the police.

The little girl has been reunited with her biological father who had been trying to find her for several years. Child protective services in Brazil knew about the 2 women but because they continuously moved around they were difficult to track. The victim's father is unemployed and couldn't afford to reclaim the body so the state is picking up the transport and burial costs.
