Got a Norton Malicious Site Blocked! message while surfing GFY

Hey guys,

I just logged on and went through the "Fucking Around & Program Discussion" threads section, when I clicked on this thread "Clits and Lips" https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-p...lits-lips.html my firefox url changes to this -

moz-extension://####################ad/content/ui/blockedPage.html?originalURL=http://bobsvagene.club/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/pussy_orgasm_contr-5226.gif&blockPageType=IPS&IpsSignature=#### (changed some numbers to #)

And my Norton Security Displays this -

Malicious Site Blocked!
You attempted to access:
http://bobsvagene[.]club/wp-cont...contr-5226.gif (I replaced the . with a [dot] so you guys don't accidentally click the link.)
This web page is a known malicious web page. It is highly recommended that you do NOT visit this page.

Visit
Norton
to learn more about phishing and internet security.
Continue to the site

Anyway, just thought I would make this thread to see if anyone else is having this happen to them or maybe GFY is hacked or maybe my PC it's self has a Virus.

Anyway, can some of you guys confirm that its not just me this is happening to.

I don't get any virus notification surfing GFY from my phone and reading the mobile version of GFY from that URL. I have Norton & McAffee mobile security installed.

I also don't see images automatically on the mobile version.

From your post my guess is one of those gifts is being pulled from a site that's been tagged as malicious and that's why you're getting the warning, not because the code in the post/thread is malicious.

It happens, best thing is to get rid of Norton, there are better programs out there

think about that

Seems like that's the case

Its just where someone on this site posts specific images in threads, hosted on (probably shady) servers which they have access to the server logs. And they spend their days trying to match up server log access times & IP addresses for specific images, to replies to specific threads.

IDK why anyone would want to do that. Unless they're trying to guess who are the "fake nics" posting here. Maybe you could ask the first person who responded to this thread, attempting to do damage control?

It boggles the mind that people exist, who literally have nothing better to do with their time.

I hope whoever bought GFY, if they're interested in helping put a stop to the drama & BS that has destroyed this site, will restrict image posting to sites like IMGURL or similar. GFY could regain the respect it once had, and be an awesome site like it used to be.

Hm, I see it as the bobvagene site being infected and not this site. If the image is hotlinked from there, that makes sense.

If hotlinked from a free image hosting site, then that site is infected.

Or, I’m remembering wrong
