Yea I've seen it before, Uber also has one that's similar called Uber freight and Amazon is also trying to get into the game as well.
They are all sort of wait and see things to see which one if any becomes the leader. The rates are usually kinda low on them which is why not many are using them. In all reality though we already have tools like this as you can use most loadboards on cell phone apps so doing everything right from the cell phone is already being done but with more traditional freight boards with brokers. essentially what conway, uber & amazon are trying to do is cut the middle man out of the picture.. That being the freight broker. They are trying to let their apps be the freight broker. IMO they might be trying to pre-position themselves to the point where they control the load boards when driver less trucks take over because then they can start buying trucks with no drivers and control the bulk of the shipping market. I believe that is what both Amazon & uber are eyeing long term..

Amazon has already been buying their own freight trailers for a few years now. They are buying tons of them. Yet they don't own a single truck of their own, they pay other companies to haul their trailers.
IMO it's just obvious they are waiting for driver less trucks. The thing is the roads in this country are no where near ready for driver less cars much less big trucks.. The major highways are in extremely bad shape and Congress doesn't want to spend any money to fix them..
