When I was a teenager I used to work at a t-shirt kiosk where people would select the design, we would grab the "graphic" and heat transfer it to the t-shirt.

Direct to garment technology has improved dramatically since then.

Oh yes, There is one still on the wall where I work. I was only able to see one. After I found the image, I could see it every time I looked at it.
