Where do you buy your SSL certificates?

Is it better to just get them from your domain registrar or go somewhere else like Let'sEncrypt?

I use LetsEncrypt for normal websites and some services, but all shops, important services and code-signing go through https://www.thesslstore.com/

It depends on what kind of sites do you need it for. LetsEncrypt for regular sites is enough, but if you have a shop, paysite, then I would suggest DigiCert SSL Certificates.

I think that unless you're with a fully managed host who does everything, you should probably separate domain registration, SSL certificate registration, and hosting. IMHO.

Most of the control panels will now do auto Let's Encrypt. For specialty uses we like to recommend RapidSSL.
