Paxum payments stopped???

Yesterday I received this message from few affiliate programs (Gammae, KellyCash):

Following recent banking events in Europe it is not presently possible to process payments via Paxum and we don’t have a clear idea of when that may resume. In the meantime we highly suggest switching your payout method to check, which will be processed on the next pay period.

We appreciate your patience as we search for other solutions.
Is this somehow related to the card issue? If yes, then HOW exactly? Transferring money does not require a card.

Here's what happened :
Paxum were using WireCard as a bank.
When WireCard crashed, Paxum had to switch to another bank, and they used one in the country of Dominica.
When we tried to fund our Paxum account through their new bank, our canadian bank didn't have the country of Dominica as a country they could pay.
So we have to switch bank, which we are in process of doing right now.

I was just about to sign up at Fame Dollars and saw they have a message about Paxum (the exact same message - they are all under the same company?).

Paxum has more options to get the money EFT, Wire and other methods, not just the card...

Right, but this isn't about withdrawals. This is about funding the amount via wire to pay hundreds of thousands to affiliates. Wirecard was also the bank you'd send a wire to. Or should I say, through.

The thing is about the card, with the partners that issue the cards, they manage lots of funds... but you can still access to your money if you're not using it, is an e-wallet biz like Paypal...

yes got this email too, some minor problems, all will go back to normal soon.

Just a reminder to not put all your eggs into one basket. I've used wirecard and paxum for many years and I wasn't affected by this.
