Help! - Windows XP problem
I need help, as I am rather slow with these things...
I went away for 14 days, when I get back and turn on the computer here, it says my "user profile" cannot be found or loaded properly, so it loads a guest user or something. I figure I have to reinstall everything, but the problem is I would like my email from Outlook, and all my contacts. Right now, when I open Outlook, they are all gone, because I am on a different profile. Is there any way to retrieve this? Any help will be much appreciated :-) Oh, and yeah, "format c:" will happen AFTER I have done this, so save the smartass remarks ;-) |

look in your "Documents and Settings" directory.
If you still have old files from your previous profile they will be in there. i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\USER\ try copying the information there from each directory to the directories of your new profile. That might work |

If your user path was deleted, than it's nothing you can do but kill the administrator... ;)
User path is in the previous post... |
