State of CCBill?

I contacted my rep days ago via text message, phone call, and email and have had no response.

Also, I waited 14 days on a new sub account for Visa approval. From what I understand, they changed banks AGAIN and this caused the delay.

I was told I would be contacted once my sub account became approved... no contact. But the Visa logo is no on my join form.

Anyway... does anyone know anything that I don't know. Things don't seem as they should...

CCBill were great back in the day, the best because of the affilate system they offered (even it was clunky).

They failed to move with the times though with the demise of affiliates so personally, I would look into other billers and drop CCBill to the bottom of the cascade.

I still get a weekly check from ccbill so I'm happy. I only wish it was like 2004 amount.

All the various gateways are pretty full-featured. Compliance and diminishing returns will probably keep any third party processor from ever evolving.

It's August and half the world is on holiday right now so CCBill probably has a skeleton crew on. And I have waited up to three weeks for Visa approval so i would chill a while longer.

I have 3 or 4 amazing CCBill paysites that convert daily, plus one outstanding and unique gay CCBill site that is a killer. PM me for details. Do them as a test run and I will give you a higher % payout than 50/50.

So you would rather roll the dice and take your chances with the myriad of NATS-powered APs? I don\t know man. When I check GFY I see threads daily (including TODAY) about non-CCBill Affiliate Programs not paying affiliates and screwing people over. I never see threads saying CCBill does not pay.

ccbill has been a nightmare for me. Obviously it works for others, I am just speaking for myself. UI is shit, I don't know who can dispute that. Reporting is painfully slow and anything but user friendly, when it works.

The number of hits recorded were nowhere near what I was sending. I don't have that prb with NATS.

I got locked out several times for not logging in often enough.

I once tried to join as a merchant to have an AP of my own, I got an account manager sending me emails but not responding to me (like she was not getting my emails).

I am sure I wouldn't say all this if, like you, I was getting daily checks.

My affiliates get paid, I get paid... that part works perfect.

When I look to promote, I run away from NATS. To many stories of affiliates not getting paid. The trust factor just isn’t there for me.

I was looking for a 3rd party cms a few years ago... after thorough consideration... I decided to write my own. No way I am paying the amounts they want... especially for multi-site features.

I may grab Epoch as a secondary biller... FINALLY!

Head manager sent me a new log in credentiel with their encrypt email etc..
Still lock out. They ask me to call in i say when i have a chance i will .

Oh when it comes to CCBill's actual website - especially on the affiliate side - it's a total clusterfuck AND a shit show. Those things you decribe are not as bad on the Program Owner side but still CCBill is slow as 1999 when it comes to their Admin.

If you want to try some sites of mine I will give you the better % spilt I offered JScott above. If they don't sell oh well at least we tried with sites I know convert daily.

Our payments AND my affiliate deposits come in like clock work.
I use their live chat when ever I need a custom datalink report, which takes 1-3 hrs to for to deliver.

Porn nerd has some nice sites that convert. We don't notice anything odd with ccbill compared to other companies as an affiliate.

We also don't turn and run from promoting something because of their billing system. Except ibill. We don't do that.

I remember a conversation with CCBill people from 2003 or 2004 in which they told me "we are working on a new backend".

We have used CCBill for over 10 years. Payouts to affiliates have been like clockwork. Knock on wood.

I discovered recently that ccbill quietly removed wires as a payment method about a year ago. They now only do SEPA and ACH, so if you're outside of North America or Europe the only choice is an old school paper check. I presume this is for both affiliates (which I am) and program owners?

Hey guys,

I started with CCBill in 2005, after Globill collapse and I'm done with them.

I've had 10 account managers in the last 3 years and not one of them has been any good (I think Rita told me 2 years ago that she has seen their new backend so she isn't lying, it is happening).

For 15% over 15 years I can't believe how shit I get treated by them.
