A name records getting indexed from other sites on same IP
Hi,
I have a dedicated server and I've been finding my mail A record being indexed instead of the correct URL. Different sites. Example: Site abc.com and bff.com is on same IP. Host sets up all the records when I add domains and select which IP I want them on. abc.com gets indexed but now mail.bff.com is coming up in the search results for what should be abc.com. Never the index page, happening on the other pages other than index. Several sites this is happening to me on same server. Any ideas? |

I’m no tech. Maybe you have open indexes somewhere. Something similar happened to a buddy of mine

One site developed in 2008 other site developed in 2016, 2 different programmers. Has to be server side settings and I have a managed server, and I would like to give him some reasons to fix this potentially very problematic indexing of pages. |
