I suppose if you want to be found for image searches.

it´s always good to tag a few niche and I tag my name, wondering, is it legal to tag other models or company names?

I notice other companies even la couple of arger names, not naming here, but, have used my model name when the star is not the same model name, probably to bring their model images up in my tag search.
