Mope (2019)
Just finished watching this, and tbh, I actually really enjoyed it. Although based on a true story, a lot of the camera equipment and general tech, plus the way that they shoot is a lot more 2002/2003 that 2010 when its supposed to be set, but that aside - A fun romp. The delusional attitude of the mentally ill lead, really hit home regarding certain male talent I dealt with back in the day, but what really stood out for me was the studios that they were living at. They got that part spot on. The amount of places like that, with a cast of motley characters living there really hit home. Anyone else watched it? What yah think? |
