How far in advance do you start your holiday marketing campaigns?
For those sponsor programs that have Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc content, how far in advance of the holiday do you start putting ads up for those types of sites or content?
In your opinion is there a 'sweet spot' when it comes to pushing this type of content to your site visitors?

a few weeks, sometimes a month before, depends whether it´s the shoot, so the content or the web structure, banners, the promotion, the updates, tubes, my own profiles.
but yes, averaging 2 and 4 weeks before the said holiday... I enjoy Halloween most, but Valentines & Christmas can be fun with the trees and the stockings.

We aren't content producers, but we see holiday-themed promos start 1-2 weeks before the targeted holiday. Production of the promo material to use of course is very likely to happen earlier than that.
