Prius owners, is the cover under the car plastic cover?
it seems just from looking at it, the cover under the car is plastic? no metallic anywher?

I don't have a prius but given that you can buy aftermarket metal skid plates that would indicate that it's probably plastic.

So in case of battery detonation the plastic blows out rather than the car up.
