WP SEO Question
Hi, Does anyone know why WordPress is merging the content of fields "site title" and " tagline" into one line in code?
![]() I mean, when you look at the code of the index page of Wordpress, both fields are shown within <title> </title> tag. The goal was to insert a meta description for the index page but then I noticed this. thanks

It has always done this. "Site title" does not mean title tag, it means the name of the site or the brand name which is too short on its own for the title tag.
