this tragic latest updates of his illness is all over Sky news this week, as with the earthquake & the girl missing in the UK...
what´s really sad about the situation is for many years there´s been no updating of medicines or help towards dementia. While with cancer & other life threatening diseases, are tested every day. There´s actually a few drugs help the patient, giving an effect to ease the symptoms of the illness & slow the progression. however, nothing else has been produced & no other drugs or care has been sampled or tried since this last year... "Lecanemab – a humanized monoclonal antibody manufactured by Biogen and Eisai and administered intravenously every two weeks – targets beta amyloid, a toxic protein that accumulates to form plaques in the brain and is believed to be a significant driver of Alzheimer's" Some anti depressants like trazodone can reduce the behavioral problems associated with frontotemporal dementia. An amazing guy, so lovely in interviews & a fantastic actor. Sad news.
