Sweet, but too small for us. The wife and I were just talking about this. We couldn't go smaller than the 40' we have now. Even if we didn't have kids.

My parents have 28' built on a MB Sprinter that's really nice...but I feel claustrauphobic when I'm inside it.

My plan is travelling through europe with something like this.

And must be self-powered for 1 week + starlink probably.
A dinghy boat with electro motor and an electro scooter in the back.
Cause you can't hardly enter most cities in the EU cause of CO2 rules.

I respect the heck out of the guys who just throw a mattress in the back of their SUV on top of some drawers and are happy to camp like that.

I'd like a Sprinter conversion, but even with that it's too small for more than a solo trip.

sorry reality check for people considering this travelling europe:
you cannot compare it with america or other continents

its hard to have privacy in such a box travelling thru europe and in most cases you end on a trucker spot or parking space near the motorway. as you can see the chap has to close all his windows to enjoy a beer inside. during season europe is packed with those campers and it will be hard to find individual place on your own, often you get chasen away if your not using the official camper spots. so finding a nice spot for a night might be okay, but do not expect there to stay two nights or more without getting chasen away

maybe in scandinavia or nothern countries its worth it, but in france, spain, croatia
italy , all the nice spots where its warm and dense, it is a cumersome experience during season

during full season, all you can do is to go to trailer parks , camping spaces (often overbooked, packed, cramped ) stay there and rent a place where u are stuck with 100, 1000 of other guys enjoying that trailer park feeling. that means people doing bbq at 3 o clock n the night , loud children, the smell of plastic toilets etc..sorry im totally anti social i did it once and never will do it again (using a camper)

Probably you will getting robed parking on a truckstop at night. Now i see all pensioners heading to the warmer parts of Spain on a big parking space. But is nice to stay some days and travel further. Most cities you want to see for only 2-3 days. And sometimes look for free places in the inlands. I don't know yet if i will like it. During high season you must avoid family campings.

45 euro a night, in Amsterdam in High season

Stealth camping, i already did when i was 16. With a bike and tent through Holland with a friend. No problem back than.

when we toured to Spain, it was really great fun in the caravan. But we find boating more exciting, wanting to get another boat over the coming years & tour the med sea rather than land

I had this camper. Same basic van with an upgrade and drove the whole west coast, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico and it was great.

Unless you want to pull a toad, these are a great size because you can drive them around cities while you are touring. They fit easily in National Park campgrounds, they are easy to stealth camp. But there are times that I wish it had been bigger. It is a trade off.

This is based on VW Transporter/Caravelle/Multivan. It's loud as shit at highway speeds.

The fact the my wife prefers tents it's more than likely this would only be for me and some of the kids but no electronics. They've been having camping trips every year for like 13 years - I personally gave up on them and visiting during campfire then go home. My age I need to comfort of a bathroom nearby LOL

This would be absolutely amazing and comfortable - just right for me - she'd laugh at me until it thunders one evening or she wants to cook using a real kitchen vs. a campfire or Colman stove. God bless her to teach the kids survival skills
