On a lark I decided to give modelmayhem another try. They were shitty 5 years ago and they're still shitty. Albeit, the site owner always figured he was too good for porn.

I kept my language clean and never directly mentioned adult work. But they still managed to send me this message today. Someone in Africa has got to create an adult jobs site because platforms like Only Fans are creating a huge need for them.

We've really become an industry full of wimps.

I don't want to become an old nostalgic guy. But, I remember when we faced off against the FBI and we're willing to go to jail just so we could show a cock sliding in and out of a cunt. It is just math. A non-adult model site keeps its corporate parent open to investment from all the big funds.

An adult model site is only able to get the value of its revenue and can never IPO or grow from major mainstream investment.

I'm just telling you the reality.

Yup, one can only get so big in porn. The parameters are “allowed” and can be changed. I’ve never thought it was a good idea when PH thought they could slip into mainstream with tactical placement and other paid mentions on mainstream avenues. I knew it would backfire. The model should have never been allowed to exist in the first place but everyone in this biz cucked to the allure of $$ in a consolidating playing field, facilitating the erasure of small to mid size programs and their affiliates.

Similarly, the death knel for creators on OF will be over-saturation and mediocrity. Too many people making content that belong on dialysis, not in front of a camera, well iphone.

Any idea how they could've discovered your porn ties?

I've had an account there for a while as I shoot arty nudes for fun, and I've never shot erotic stuff with models there. I'm going to art school in the fall, so I'll keep on playing nice as I'm going to need non-porn models.

I've found that many of the nude models there are difficult to work with as they're used to posing for civilians, and so have a repertoire of poses they work through repeatedly during a shoot... it's hard to break them of the habit.
